Bringing It To Life

It has been a while since I updated my project as we had been preparing bits for Vertex, and then we also had the industry week. The last couple weeks whenever I had a chance I was adding in some more of the smaller assets just to bring some more life to the level. Whilst at home I would make / unwrap new assets and add them into the level, and then whilst I am at Uni I was texturing all of my assets.
I had added in textures for my desks and typewriters as well as some of the chairs. I did have to go back and forth from Substance Painter to Maya a couple times the fix the UV as the textures weren't matching up. The typewriter keys needed a little altering, and so did the UV for the globe.
The textures and the level are coming along really nicely; using the advice I received from Vertex I had been spending a little more time on my textures getting them look clearer. After adding in a few more textures I am going to work a little more on the lighting from the main lights and start fleshing everything out a little more. I would also like to do another VR test soon with the more updated textures and a better first-person camera.
